Tangled!

Have you ever been caught up trying to straighten things out? There’s honestly something with untangling things.

I have been caught up in between a number of situations like that and coming out of them weren’t easy for me.

Don't fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns.
Philippians 4:6 (MSG)

On one recent occasion, it was an episode with my favorite necklace. I was getting dressed to go to the office, picked it up to wear it and then I discovered it was tangled. 😭 Oh my!

I was running seriously late and I don’t like to be late at all. I tried untangling it in a rush but I didn’t succeed. After all my ‘gra gra’ (rushing) – and so much time had passed so quickly – I eventually sat down and took a critical look at it. I realized I couldn’t make it straight with my finger nails, and had to use a needle to pull out one of the lines before it got straightened.

And God's peace [shall be yours, that tranquil state of a soul assured of its salvation through Christ, and so fearing nothing from God and being content with its earthly lot of whatever sort that is, that peace] which transcends all understanding shall garrison and mount guard over your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:7 (AMP)

What’s the first thing you do when you find yourself in overwhelming situations without a clear sense of direction? What’s your auto response? Worry? Fear? Or instant security in God?

You know, I would be wrong to make it seem like it’s easy not to fret or get bothered with issues like that. It only shows you’re human. However, there is need for us should start getting intentional about our reaction to issues.

Philippians 4:7 (MSG)

To get the best out of tangled situations, choose to always rest in the assurance of God’s presence through both the sunny and rainy days. Don’t stay tangled!
