As I conclude on this series, I hope you’ve been able to glean from the critical conversations so far.

On today’s post, I’ll be exploring another key characteristic of the Eagle and it’s the first thing that comes to mind when most people hear about this unique creature. Finally, right? Lol!
[22] The eye is the lamp of the body. So if your eye is sound, your entire body will be full of light.
Matthew 6:22-23 (AMP)
[23] But if your eye is unsound, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the very light in you [your conscience] is darkened, how dense is that darkness!
On one of these days, I had to leave home early in the morning and it was still dark. It took some minutes of standing by my gate before the first motorbike approached me. Despite how much I wanted to arrive at my destination on time, I didn’t agree to boarding the bike. The motorbike had no head lights!
Would you choose to go on a journey without proper sight of what’s ahead? What if you run into a brick wall? Or fall off a cliff? In the Bible scripture above, you can see that the eyes are like light to the physical body; this is how vital it is to see.
Then Jesus placed his hands on the man’s eyes again, and his eyes were opened. His sight was completely restored, and he could see everything clearly.
Mark 8:25 (NLT)
Have you ever wondered why the Eagle can sight their prey from distant heights? Every human’s sight that is considered to be ‘good’ is rated a 20/20 while that of an Eagle is rated 20/5. Eagles, by nature, were built to be visionic – and they use it extremely well.
How well have you optimized the spiritual advantage you have as a child of God? The Holy Spirit is available to show you things to come, both in the physical and spiritual. You have to first recognize that the Spirit dwells in you, so you can have the ability. Maximize it!
But when He, the Spirit of Truth (the Truth-giving Spirit) comes, He will guide you into all the Truth (the whole, full Truth). For He will not speak His own message [on His own authority]; but He will tell whatever He hears [from the Father; He will give the message that has been given to Him], and He will announce and declare to you the things that are to come [that will happen in the future].
John 16:13 (AMP)
After you see, the next step is to strategize and then take action. The Eagle sights its prey from afar, ensures that the balance is steady and its talon ready to grab before going for the kill.
Has the Holy Spirit revealed to you steps to take? Have you been reluctant to do anything about it? Don’t waste your sight, take steps!

So much truth in this. 🙌 God help us all. 🤲
