When the Scripture is opened, revelation comes through the interpretation of the Holy Spirit in apt relevance to whatever God wants an individual to know.
God does not leave us to figure out for ourselves what He is doing or has done in time past. He enters our experiences and speaks to us in words we understand or through prophecies. Most times, the deep encounter we so often seek – revelation from God– comes through His word.

For no word from God will ever fail.
Luke 1:37 (KJV)
Revelations come via God’s word when there is consistency in His altar. The consistency helps one to cultivate a consecrated heart that is able to obey whatever the Holy Spirit wants or demands.
If we are to know God, it is important for us to seek Him in His own way. Many have tried to gain knowledge of God through some kind of subjective intuition. But the God of the Bible has told us not only who He is but also how we should seek knowledge of him.
Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
2 Timothy 2:15 (KJV)
