Presently, I have been observing the current generation’s attitude; their habit of always expecting immediate results and of looking to so many things outside God for help.

I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, From whence cometh my help? My help cometh from the LORD, Which made heaven and earth.
Psalm 121:1-2 (KJV)
This verse says My help cometh from the Lord. Many have looked unto flesh (fellow humans) instead of God for help, mercy and blessings.
However, if you deeply consider your life, you will realize that the help you need is not from anyone you have known to be ‘lord’ but from the infinite Lord who can use anyone and any medium of His choosing as a helper to engrace a person.
The help of God is without sorrow. When you are not looking up to him, you will likely not experience the ease that comes with trusting and walking with God to settle your needs.
Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
Hebrews 12:2 (KJV)
Dear Beloved, learn to look only to God for your help. By doing so, you will be able access to all the goodness in this world – even that which is in Heaven. Today, take that bold step of faith towards gazing at Jesus who is the author and finisher of our faith, towards gazing at the Creator rather than the created.
As you do so, anticipate an amazing testimony, to the Glory of the Lord, Amen.
