Of recent, I met two beautiful twins sisters who were really identical. After staring in their direction for a while, I moved closer, sat beside them and told them how much they reminded me of a pair of identical twins I knew. “You both smiles and act the same”, I said.
In our following conversation, one of the twins smiled and commented, “We might look alike but we aren’t the same”. Although they both practiced the same profession, did many things together and even smiled in a similar manner, this was a fact; they weren’t the same.

Wheat and Tares which are two plants that often grow side by side, one crop for food, the other a weed. One significant difference between the wheat and the tares is that one is fruitful and the other unfruitful. If one doesn’t know their difference, they might go with the tares which is unfruitful.
There are so many look-alikes that we come across day in and out that, if we aren’t careful, it might be difficult to differentiate between between what is real and what is fake. Many have fallen prey to this, even believers.
Thankfully, for the believer, there is a Way out.
“When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth, for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come.”
John 16:13 (KJV)
While checking out those things that seem genuine; that brother or sister that looks so firebrand, that message or pastor, events or conferences that seem hundred percent legit, please don’t be in a hurry to accept everything at face value, rather be patient and watch for the fruit which are produced from such persons/activities (Gal 5:22-23).
For all who are being led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.
Romans 8:14 (KJV)
So, be observant and discern well.
