The Bible is filled with instructions that the Children of God are mandated to know and abide by.
A good example of these instructions can be seen in the book of Exodus chapter 20 verses 1 to 17, where God communicated to Moses what is populary regarded as “The Ten Commandments.”

The major goal of God’s commandments is to help Believers know the Will the Father and how to live before Him, but we tend to make it a difficult affair when we try to obey from the place of flesh.
Believers are humans and humans have tendency to go with things they find pleasing. Some of the commands of God seem simple and sweet enough, yet there are many others that are downright ‘difficult’. And they seem to lack empathy and understanding of what we are capable of, almost as though God lacks empathy. Questions such as “Is this not being foolish?”, and “Am I sure is God speaking?” may begin to arise.
However, God’s commandments serve to guide our paths from eternal destruction, even if they are not always palatable to our human senses.
There will be moments where everybody will find themselves at this junction of decision; to either follow the desires (and instructions) that are sweet to our flesh, or to follow the sour-looking instructions of God.
Ultimately, it is good to constantly remember the commandments of God that guides everyone from internal destruction and grants God’s blessings upon one as stated in the scriptural verse seen below.
[13] And it shall come to pass, if ye shall hearken diligently unto my commandments which I command you this day, to love the Lord your God, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul,
[14] That I will give you the rain of your land in his due season, the first rain and the latter rain, that thou mayest gather in thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil.
[15] And I will send grass in thy fields for thy cattle, that thou mayest eat and be full.
