Every person’s destiny is unique and is divided into many seasons and phases.

One of the problems facing this generation is the lack of readiness to go through the thorough processing required in order to become what God has ordained each of His children to be.
It seems as though almost everyone is impatient, and this is usually due circumstances like environmental influence, peer influence, and so on; things that seem valid but that have led many a believer out of God’s will.
However, for everyone who will fulfill purpose, there is a time which precedes manifestation. This is a time God needs someone to be hidden from the crowd, so that He can build them inside-out in line with one destiny. A glorious destiny without a God-worked character will end as a reproach to God.
This period of time is meant for our safety;
[13] And when they were departed, behold, the angel of the Lord appeareth to Joseph in a dream, saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and flee into Egypt, and be thou there until I bring thee word: for Herod will seek the young child to destroy him.
[14] When he arose, he took the young child and his mother by night, and departed into Egypt:
[15] And was there until the death of Herod: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Out of Egypt have I called my son.
Matthew 2:13-15 (KJV)
The verses of Scripture above show us how Jesus was taken to Egypt to avert being killed by Herod, but even after this, we see that although Jesus was sound at age 12 (Luke 2:41-52), He didn’t start ministry immediately because that was not God’s timing. He went into ‘hiding’ for 18 years for a ministry of 3½ years.
And Jesus himself began to be about thirty years of age, being (as was supposed) the son of Joseph, which was the son of Heli,
Luke 3:23 (KJV)
This period of incubation, or ‘hidden time,’ is also useful in helping one develop an intimate, thriving relationship the Father. It helps one learn to combat the dangerous opposing forces awaiting you in your manifestation (Matthew 4:1-11, Mark 1:13, Luke 4:1-13) because the truth is that if you are not strong the devil will find ways to quench your fire.
The more time one spends in the preparation period, the better the quality and quantity one possesses to deliver adequately in the manifestation period.
This is why when an individual is experiencing some level of manifestation, it doesn’t always automatically mean it is time to go fully into calling immediately. A lot of the time, it might just be a process of practical training ahead of the real deal. That someone is better than his/her superior does not mean one should struggle with the steering. God might be teaching that person patience and submissiveness.
However, when one tries to rush ahead of the time, it makes one miss the cognition that should usher one into a new phase, because it makes an individual lose the cover of God.
Until God gives a go-ahead, it’s better to stay put, learn under Him and obey His instructions, regardless of any external pressures that exist.
