Synergy!

There’s definitely something between every public transport Driver and his Conductor! No one can convince me otherwise because I have experienced it almost every day. By the way, it feels great to be back here.

Just last week I boarded a bus, called ‘Danfo’ in this side of the world, and the synergy between the Driver of the bus and the Conductor was totally different from any I had experienced before then.

Amos 3:3-4
Can two walk together, except they be agreed?
Will a lion roar in the forest, when he hath no prey? will a young lion cry out of his den, if he have taken nothing?
(KJV)

Once the bus moves and once it stops, the Conductor calls for passengers and the times he got carried away from doing that, just one sound of the horn from the Driver did the trick. They had codes and signals that helped them communicate without having the passengers know what they were up to.

Usually, my encounters with bus Drivers and Conductors before then weren’t all that great. Why? They almost always had issues. If it’s not an argument about the speed of the Conductor at getting passengers, then it’s about the Driver’s insistence on routes to navigate. What am I driving at exactly?

Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
(KJV)

For your life to yield great fruits, you have to keep working hand-in-hand with the Holy Spirit.  Life is filled with a lot of twists and turns, it takes more than your wisdom to navigate through successfully.

The beauty of synergy is the impact it leaves on whatever it touches because the power of two is better than that of one. It is a collaboration with the Holy Spirit, and it requires your openness and willingness.

Just like the duo referenced above who were in synergy, you have to trust, rely on and be in sync with the Holy Spirit in this season and always to stay afloat.
