There are times, as believers, when we pray and seems that we don’t get the response(s) we desire, and it makes us wonder why they don’t come as expected.

Prayer in my perspective is a divinely appointed means of petition by which a man comes in contact with God.
Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.
Jeremiah 33:3 (KJV)
There are secrets to prayers that make our prayers more effective.
Bearing of fruits is one secret to answered prayers. lt’s a command from God that believers should bear fruit, propagating the Kingdom of God through preaching the gospel and ensuring that those converted also grow into maturity, bearing fruit themselves.
Furthermore, having a heart free of sin and ulterior is essential. Prayers must be done in the name of Jesus, in accordance with the will of God.
And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.
John 14:13-14 (KJV)
When we make petitions to God, we should let God know exactly where we stand and what we would like to see happen in our prayers, all the while admitting that God is greater and ultimately knows what is best in any given situation.
There is a proverb about wishes of life stating “Man proposes, but God disposes.” Ultimately, in prayer our hearts are worked into a posture; Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done.
