Have you ever wondered how or why opportunities pass you by?
There’s something I have heard about people’s body language serving as responses to offers given by others. The shocking part of this is that most often times, you might not know you already passed a message across.

“Body language is a very powerful tool. We had body language before we had speech, and apparently, 80% of what you understand in a conversation is read through the body, not the words.”
Deborah Bull
I was in a tricycle on my way home from work recently and we were half way into the journey when the Driver noticed that the tyre in front was down. Based on this, he intentionally didn’t pick up any more passenger while he tried locating a vulcanizer.
The moment he sighted one, he parked and beckoned on a vulcanizer to come fix the tire. The Vulcanizer was a young man, possibly in his early twenties, he didn’t move from where he sat. I was wondering whether he probably didn’t hear when the Driver reached out but after a second reach out was done, he said he was too tired to work on the tire. In short, he wasn’t interested.
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
Jeremiah 29:11 (KJV)
The journey continued and then we came across another Vulcanizer who jumped into action the moment the tricycle parked in front of his shop. He had no idea if it was a stop to drop passengers, or to make an inquiry. He approached the Driver and asked if he wanted to fix the tire. Of course, you can tell how that story ended.
What am I trying to share with this experience I had? Being a skilled person or being prepared mentally is never enough to land you some life changing opportunities. Your attitude has to speak that you are ready. It is the silent yet loud voice that compliments your preparedness. The time for you to enter into all that God has for you has come and you shouldn’t let anything stop you, welcome to October!
But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
1 Corinthians 2:9 (KJV)
