Life is very paradoxical. Sometimes, even when we “believe” God almighty as our supreme, in our human perspective, we find it difficult to fully have assurance in Him.

Recently, I visited my older sister who recently had a baby girl, and that morning I observed that my little niece eats a lot to the extent of eating baby’s food after breastfeeding.
This has become such an everyday phenomenon that she always demonstrate putting in her mouth unto any object she comes across because she is sure that if she definitely does that for few minutes, either breast milk or baby food will be provided from her dependable mother.
Like little babies that usually have very strong faith in their mothers, Believers are likewise admonished to have the same faith.
Dependence on God should be something we encourage and imbibe on a social level; in our families, communities, corporate organisations, businesses, churches and our nations.
We should depend on God, just like the Apostle declared his dependence on God in 2 Thessalonians 3:3;
But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil.
2 Thessalonians 3:3 (KJV)
When we depend on the dependable God, It makes us blessed, safe, prosper, thrive, and keeps us protected.
[22] It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.
[23] They are new every morning, great is thy faithfulness.
Lamentations 3:22-23 (KJV)

Dependence on God is the best thing we can do to ourselves, except we have something else. But that something else must be greater than God, or else we’ll fail before ever trying.

He is simply dependable because He is Omnipotent, Omnipresent and Omniscient and He cares to the uttermost for his own.
