The Illuminator

Nothing beats the feel of buying something and having it work exactly the way it was supposed to. Not only is useful to the user, it also carries out what it was originally made for.

After all, who gets satisfaction from a thing that’s not functioning the way it was programmed to?

“But blessed are your eyes, because they see; and your ears, because they hear.”

Matthew‬ ‭13‬:‭16‬ ‭(NLT‬‬)

‭‭Someone I know once placed an order online for a camera. This was born out of a need to take higher quality pictures for his business brand in order to get ample representation online. Naturally, he was very excited that what he had always wanted was now finally at the tip of his fingers.

The delivery came and the joy all over his face was so tangible that I could feel it. Soon, it was time to unbox the gadget, test it and start using it. However, despite many prolonged attempts to turn it on, checking the manuals that came with it, and people rallying round to try their hands on it, it didn’t come on.

The following day, he had to request for it to be picked up so he could get a refund. Can you imagine such a process?

“that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of him, having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope to which he has called you, what are the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints,”

Ephesians‬ ‭1‬:‭17‬-‭18‬ ‭(ESV‬‬)

There are some spiritual senses that God blessed His children with and they are meant to help our growth and also give us advantage. A typical example are the eyes; they serve as a passage through which we get insight and graphic revelation into things.

Possibilities exist that you only get to enter into when you see them. Have you ever wondered why it is said that “You can’t become what you don’t see”? Or the scripture that speaks to putting down a vision and making it plain?

That’s because the eyes are meant to help you see beyond the physical. There’s more

“The eye is the lamp of the body. So, if your eye is healthy, your whole body will be full of light, but if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light in you is darkness, how great is the darkness!”

Matthew‬ ‭6‬:‭22‬-‭23‬ ‭(ESV‬‬)

Dear believer, your eyes represent the passage for light into your body. This way, darkness is dispelled forever. You have to always be alert in your walk with the Holy Spirit and pray that your eyes be opened to see all that you should about that your purpose, that issue you are currently facing in your relationship, at work, in your family, with your finance or with your health.

As you strengthen your relationship with God, you become more precise and discerning. The Lord will cause you to triumph always. Stay in fellowship!
