Affirmations!

Affirmations are powerful uttered statements that reprogram your mind (that is, your thought patterns), build confidence, and manifest positive life changes.

The word ‘affirmation’, according to the KJV Bible Dictionary, means to assert positively; to tell with confidence; to aver; to declare the existence of something; to maintain as true; opposed to denial.

As a believer and member of God’s kingdom, affirmations are powerful tools which transforms all alter communications. Affirmations are most effective when rooted in Scripture and aligned with God’s Will.

And since we have the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, “I believed and therefore I spoke,” we also believe and therefore speak,

2 Corinthians 4:13 (NKJV)

Here are some affirmations I hold on to myself;

• “I’m the light of my world, therefore I shine brightly in all my endeavours.”
• “I’m in this world but not of this world.”
• “I am open to new relationships and connections that build up all round my life.”
• “I am a magnet for positive and supportive relationships that foster growth and success.”
• “I embrace meaningful relationships that spark innovations, creativity, and mutual success.”
• “My fulfilment attracts inspiring mentors, friends, and partners who help me attain a successful vision.”
• “I am connected with like-minded individuals who share my vision and values.”
• “I firmly embrace myself, knowing I’ll meet people who will champion my dream goals.”
• “The right people are drawn to my passion, talent, and unique perspective.”
• “Today God brings me into alignment with the right connections of who truly care about me.”
• “I see myself in a new light from today because I am planted by God’s words and I bring forth fruit in its season.”
• “I will be the impartation of solutions to my generation.”

Correct affirmations keep our mind focused on God’s greatness, and on His characteristics and unique gifts that have been imbibed unto us as His children. Therefore, we need to keep “saying it until we become it”.

Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.

Hebrews 10:23 (NIV)
