You know how life can ‘life’ you to an extent that you become an Individual who never has enough time. Let me paint a scenario.
Your alarm rings, you snooze it. It rings again and you decide to turn it off but then you see what the time is; you’re running late for your presentation at work.

Therefore there is now no condemnation [no guilty verdict, no punishment] for those who are in Christ Jesus [who believe in Him as personal Lord and Savior].
Romans 8:1 (AMP)
You jump off the bed in a hurry and head for the bathroom. While you have your bath you try to pray but all you can think of is all your notes for the presentation, soon it takes over your thoughts. Before you know it, you’re fully dressed and ready to go. Your phone rings and it’s your colleague who gives you a ride to work calling to say he’s downstairs waiting for you – Off you go!
I’m sure you can relate with this a lot right? I do too. 😉 However, look at it this way; there’s nothing that beats a day committed into the hands of Jesus. It makes you confident of His sure presence that guides your steps, thoughts, words, actions and guards you as you move around.
No matter how many weeks you’ve lived without God in your equation, you can start tomorrow. You can start today.
The steps of a [good and righteous] man are directed and established by the Lord, And He delights in his way [and blesses his path].
Psalms 37:23 (AMP)
The devil loves to use a weapon against believers which is Guilt. If you find yourself unable to pick up your spiritual journey from a time of passiveness, you first start to feel bad and if it persists, you start feeling guilty.
This is how many Christians have detoured from the way of salvation, allowing the devil fill their hearts with guilt, so much that they go deeper into sin believing there’s no way out. The best way to get back on track is to take the necessary step in the right direction.
Let the wicked leave (behind) his way And the unrighteous man his thoughts; And let him return to the Lord, And He will have compassion (mercy) on him, And to our God, For He will abundantly pardon.
Isaiah 55:7 (AMP)
I got to learn how to play video games recently, and one of the games that has me fascinated is the Car Race. I marveled at how I was in absolute control of whatever happened to my car with the keys on the pad; if it was to hit another car, a building, scratch the wall or even go in the wrong direction. Now, no matter how much my car traveled in the wrong direction or damage it had incurred, I could make it come back to the right road…repaired, refueled, and recharged!
Dear believer, don’t keep falling prey to the gimmicks of the devil. Nations are waiting for you and generations await the manifestation of your glory. Get back on track today and build a strong and steady relationship with God by the help of the Holy Spirit.
You can say this prayer right now and pick things up from here:
Dear Jesus, thank you for the redemptive power of your blood that is able to wash away the dirtiest of stains. I ask that you have mercy on me and forgive me for all my actions and inactions. From today, I ask that you hold my hands and you give me strength for the journey ahead. Amen!
Shalom!
