Acknowledging God-Seasons.

The 3rd chapter of the book of Ecclesiastes 3 (verses 1 to 8, specifically) talks about times and seasons for different things in a man’s life.

A believer’s life is packaged into different seasons that he/she needs to be conscious about. There are seasons for acquiring training for manifestation, and there are seasons for the expected manifestation to occur, each season designed with its own unique challenges, requirements and overarching purpose.

Acknowledging and adapting to these seasons is crucial for spiritual growth, fulfillment, and manifesting God’s glory.

Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Proverbs 3:5-6 (KJV)

There are activities that an individual must do and steps to take in order to get the best of God’s seasons. They include;

  • Attending church services and gatherings.
  • Engaging with God ordained ministers or mentors.
  • Being sensitive to the Holy Spirit’s guidance and developing a habit personal prayer and study of the Scripture.

Not going through seasons well could result in spiritual stagnation, which leads to disconnection from God’s purpose and also missed opportunities (which can only be regained expect through God’s mercy and intervention).

Acknowledging seasons and giving proper attention to them actually helps us as believers to take the right steps and decisions and, ultimately, to walk accurately in God’s purpose for our lives.

[8] But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

[10] But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

1 Corinthians 2:9-10 (KJV)
