We all had expectations and goals written on paper or on the tablets of our hearts at the beginning of this year, in January 2025. Still, looking back now, we might have found out that none of the meticulously written goals was scratched, much less smashed, in the month of March we are presently in.
The year 2025, in my perspective, is really moving so fast. I guess December comes with a truckload of adrenaline that gets a lot of people running at full speed.
But, in the process, many have begun to lose their joy.

Joy is not situation-dependent. You could achieve all of your goals and have of your needs met, and still be unfulfilled if your joy tank is empty.
For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.
Romans 14:17 (KJV)
Joy is credited into your account when you receive the life of Christ; it comes with the salvation package—you own it! Why then do you allow the devil steal it away from you?
Dear believer, instead and obsessing over unmet goals and ‘unanswered’ prayers, why not write out a list of every single way God came through for you during the year? Instead of giving room to those depressive thoughts, why not give way for Joy to fill the room?
Circumstances beyond your control might dampen your spirit, but have to come to the point of learning to look beyond the impossibilities to your reality in Christ.
Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.
Psalm 30:5 (KJV)
Joy in the Holy Ghost is not dependent on availability of meat and drink, clothes to wear, possession of marital satisfaction, money, acquisition of certifications, material things or seasons of celebrations alone.
It is state of being you should come into, it is a command you should keep, it is a right you must acknowledge, and it is the attitude you should maintain all the times.
Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.
Philippians 4:4 (KJV)
