Last week, we defined what the Calling of every believer is. This week, we will talk about the implications of being called.

Dear Christian, you are not of this world, you are separate. You’re unique, and your journey to eternity is not a popular one.
Your Faith isn’t built on self-righteous rags, but on the righteousness of God made available through the redemptive work of Jesus Christ by His blood shared on Calvary’s tree (2 Corinthians 5:21), so stay separate!
As you live in this world, do not love the world, or the things she possesses.
Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
1 John 2:15 (KJV)
In mingling with the world, don’t get unequally yoked with her.
Be not unequally yoked with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? And what communion hath light with darkness?
2 Corinthians 6:14 (KJV)
As you make use of the world, never fall in love with her. Guard your heart jealously.
Keep thy heart with all diligence; for our of it are the issues of life.
Proverbs 4:23 (KJV)
You are called to be Christlike. Like the patriarchs of old who held onto their faith in God and His promised redemption even in death, hold your faith dear and never trade it for anything.
Before family, friendships, ministry and even you, let the LORD—the ever living Truth—always be your first priority, guiding your every step in His righteousness.
Stay put with the called-out tribe.
