Truth is, most of the time, our expectations are the realities we command. In making allowance for each other's frailties (and doing so in Love), we must hope for the best and expect the best. That way, if someone behaves otherwise, we know how to pray for the person.
This happened years ago, I was a girl and I felt bad that nobody wanted to associate with me. I'm glad that experience didn't drive me into doing what was wrong, and that it didn't take me to a place I couldn't return from.
