Have we ever wondered why we humans all feel the need to be loved?

If we’re being honest, we all have a desire to be loved. We want to feel cared for. We want to feel cherished and accepted. Why is that?
Simple; we were made to find true love in God.
As individual, we may love someone until they stop loving us back or stop pleasing us. However, God’s love for us – sinful, wicked people – is remarkable, relentless, hard to fathom, and never-ending, unlike human love that may ‘switch’ on or off.
God loves us so much that He sent His perfect Son to die on the cross for our sins so that we could have eternal life, know Him, and enjoy doing life with Him.
For God so loved the world, that He gave his only begotten son, that whosoever love Him may not perish but have everlasting life.
John 3:16 (KJV)
God’s love is unconditional and unchanging. It is not dependent on us. 1 John 4 teaches us that God Himself is love, which tells us that God loves us because of who He is. It is in His nature to love. Hence there is nothing that we can do to make Him love us more or less.
God is unchanging in His love. He loves you. He has a plan for your life. Don’t let the newspaper headlines frighten you. God is still sovereign; He’s still on the throne.
Billy Graham
The fact is that God’s love is the catalyst that enables us to love Him and others is almost inconceivable, but is absolutely true and is the key to experiencing love in its purest form.
Everything that God does is out of love. So rest in the knowledge that no matter what season that we are in, we can trust in His love for us.
