God,
The Creator of Masterpieces
Weaving and writing beautiful stories through each life
Surrender is not a choice
It is a requirement
God
You can’t choose the story He writes through you
We are assured through
His Word
His Person
His Character
That all will be to the glory of His Name
If glory, it means His goodness
If goodness, it means we can only expect good things
For we know that ALL things work together for good, for those who LOVE HIM, to them who are the CALLED according to His purpose
So in the FIRE
In the STORM
In the VALLEY
We are ASSURED
It will be for our GOOD
We live expectant, DAILY.

Merriam-Webster defines goodness as “the quality or state of being good”. It means something is beneficial.
Goodness is a familiar word. Some even use it as an exclamation (i.e, “oh my goodness!” or “goodness me!”). We sing about it and we talk about it, but when it comes to God, do we understand what it means?
When the young ruler came to meet Jesus, he saluted him as being good. But Jesus said unto him, “Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God.” This is a moment to pause and think about.
And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? There is none good but one, that is, God.
Mark 10:18
This Scripture means that no man has the quality of “being good” apart from God Himself.
So what is goodness in the light of God?
The Bible defines God’s goodness in two ways: One has to do with His character; the other focuses on His actions. Psalm 119:68 captures both when it says of God: “You are good and You do what is good.” This means that God is goodness personified, by nature He is good.
Thou art good, and do good; teach me thy statutes.
Psalm 119:68
God is inherently good in and of Himself. For us, goodness is an added quality but for God, that is who He is.
How do you know that someone has posseses a certain character or quality – except if it’s expressed actions? Similarly, God’s goodness is expressed through His actions, such that all He does is good.
You and I have experienced His goodness before and it’s ever evident through Christ Jesus, because He is the extension of God’s goodness to us.
Romans 8:32 makes us understand that if He didn’t withhold His son from us, it means He will not withhold from us anything He has to give.
So, why do we doubt His goodness when we go through unsavoury situations and events?
We must understand that whatever our circumstances are, God is good. Who God is, is not determined by our different moments in life, but by what the Scriptures say.
Therefore, we must move beyond our emotions to the realm of faith. Remember, Jesus said in this world we will have tribulations, but we should rejoice because He has overcome the world.
Your situations don’t change who God is, He is who He is. He is I AM. Irrespective of the situation, always remember that He is GOOD.
So we are convinced that every detail of our lives is continually woven together for good, for we are his lovers who have been called to fulfil his designed purpose.
Romans 8:28 TPT

God is good, no matter the situation. ALL that He does is good.
Thank you for the reminder.
