Sometimes fear doesn’t show up dramatically, it shows up in small ways. Like hesitation when you’re meant to speak, or overthinking things you used to do freely. You start to second-guess yourself, and without realizing it, your confidence in God begins to fade.
You pray, but with less boldness. You believe, but with less conviction. Slowly, it begins to feel like you’re doing life on your own. You know God is there, but you’re not sure how close. You’ve received the promises, but they start to feel far away.
So if the Son sets you free, you are truly free.

This is why we NEED the Word. By this I mean spending much time with Scripture, not a quick brush through. The Word of God reminds us of what’s true when our feelings and life situations try to convince us otherwise. We become grounded with solid roots in rich soil and our hearts become realigned with the freedom we have already been given.
For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline.

Yes, you are free and this is not just a nice idea, it’s a reality — your reality as a believer. The more you stay in the Word, the more that freedom becomes your reality, not just a verse you heard once. When fear tries to creep in, go back to the Word. That’s where your strength is.

So the next time fear whispers, “What if things don’t work out?”, you need to answer with truth which is God’s word. Remind yourself daily of what God has already said and build your mind to believe it.
God’s word isn’t just information, it’s a weapon to help your life across all areas come out victorious. One that builds your confidence, anchors your mind, and brings peace where fear once lived. The more you take it in, the more you’ll see that fear isn’t meant to rule you, especially when God’s truth is leading you.
