Be Ye Doers

But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

James 1:22 (KJV)

Living out God’s Word requires courage, consistency, and commitment. It goes being merely hearing, reposting or quoting scriptures.

Being doers of God’s word results in us living in ways that demonstrate God’s love, wisdom, and righteousness. By doing so, we not only honor God but also become a living testimony of His faithfulness to the world around us.

As believers, we must continually seek divine wisdom, not only to hear the word but also to live by it. Just like Apostle Paul reminds us:

For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.

Galatians 1:10 (KJV)

In this world, we will face trials, opposition, and moments when the world questions our choices, but God is able to bring deliverance, guidance, and strength in the midst of challenges.

It is very essential to examine our hearts daily by asking;

Are our words building up or tearing down? Are our actions aligned with our faith? Are we seeking to please God alone in accordance to the commandments of His words? Are we seeking God’s approval or the approval of men? Are we standing for Jesus in the face of adversity?

We can rest assured that, when our actions align with God’s word, we are shielded from deception, empowered to resist temptation, and able to reflect His glory in every circumstance.

Let us embrace the call to live out God’s word daily; speaking life, acting in faith, and trusting His guidance.

In doing so, we become instruments of His glory and testimonies of His unwavering faithfulness in a world that desperately needs God’s light.

  1. “Let us embrace the call to live out God’s Word daily.”

    It will always be a challenge – making sure our lives align with His Word every day, but it’s the only way to really live.

    God made us to be His lights in this world, and the only way this can happen is if we keep our eyes on Him. We will reflect Jesus if He remains our Focus – everyday.

    Thank you for this 🙏🏽
