It’s often said, “It’s my body; I can do what I want with it. I don’t owe anyone any explanation.” Yes, indeed, it is your body but have you forgotten that you were bought with a price?
One came into this world; He was hung naked on the cross for you and me so that we might have eternal life.
And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
Philippians 2:8 (KJV)
As a result, your body is not just your own; it belongs to the Lord.
Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ?
1 Corinthians 6:15a (KJV)

What? Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
20. For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.1 Corinthians 6:19-20 (KJV)
Our bodies are temples of the Most High God. A temple is sacred, as it carries the presence of God.
The Apostle Paul also reminds us that “meats for the belly, and the belly for meats; but God shall destroy both it and them.”
Now the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body.
1 Corinthians 6:13 (KJV)
Our body is a vessel that is meant to glorify God and we have been called to present our bodies as such. Not just as a sacrifice, but as a sacrifice holy and acceptable.
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
Romans 12:1 (KJV)
Our worship becomes reasonable when we subject our bodies in full alignment with God. Whatever we do, including what we do with our bodies should reflect Christ
Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.
1 Corinthians 10:31 (KJV)
You were bought with a price, a price no human could pay. Only Jesus could, and through His blood we have redemption. He gave Himself willingly so that we might reign with Him in eternity.
So, let your life reflect the One who redeemed you. Live in a way that your body, your choices, and your lifestyle honor Him. Remember, you have been bought with a price!

Thanks for this my sister
