We human beings are continuously concerned about our present needs and the things that we desire.

People carry loads of anxiety, worrying about the future, asking themselves questions such as; “What will happen to them after graduation?”, “Will I have a happy marriage?”, “What is the guarantee that I’m going to live long?”
Scripture says:
Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
Mathew 6:34 (NIV)
As believers and as representatives of God’s Kingdom here on Earth, we need to start worrying less about our needs and focus more on what God is concerned about. Our earthly fulfillment pales in comparison to eternal fulfilment.
But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
Matthew 6:33 (NIV)
The question we should ask oursleves is; “Am I worthy to be where my heavenly Father will be when the eternal race gets to the finish line?
Is my heart more set on the eternal race than the earthly race?”
This should always be the question on our minds.

May our hearts be set always on things above. Amen
Amen.
