Exhibiting A Victorious Life.

A few months ago, I found myself going through some challenging situations. And after all I’d been through, I felt like I had come to a point where things like that shouldn’t happen anymore.

While pondering this situation, I remembered a sermon I listened to recently by Pastor Sam Adeyemi. He said:

“…the Christian Life does not give you immunity from challenges, it only guarantees your ultimate victory…”

Many times, because of life’s difficulties, there are several occasions that we have convinced ourselves that there is no need to be grateful or appreciative for what God has done, is doing, and will be doing. Instead, we compare ourselves with others and neglect the little (and big) things He has already provided us with.

Even when we decide to be grateful, we sometimes end up doing so grudgingly. Our attitude towards God should be a heart full of gratefulness and thankfulness.

In every thing give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

1 Thessalonians 5:18 (KJV)

I have decided to be grateful for where I am presently and where God is taking me to. I keep reminding myself that I might not be where I planned to be, but for this place I’m at the moment and where I am going there is still more than enough reason to be grateful.

It might not seem like what you are looking for, but what matters most is that in that tight situation, when it seems as if the storms of life are crashing down on you, you are still grateful.

It is much more beneficial to be grateful for wherever you are, whatever you may be doing no matter how fast or slow that thing might be coming along.

Know now that some do not have the opportunity you have, so don’t let any day go to waste without showing a heart of gratitude. Be grateful for everything and in all things, One day, with consistency and determination, your goals will actualize, but what will matter is the heart and attitude you carried throughout the process.

A heart full of gratitude, is a life full of victories.

For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world, and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.

1 John 5:4 (KJV)
