I’ve seen pipes, different types of pipes.
If you have ever seen a pipe that hasn’t been used or maintained for a while, you’ll notice how easily it gets blocked. Dirt starts to build up, it begins to rust, and before you know it, what is supposed to flow through it slows down or becomes contaminated.

The pipe is not the source of what flows through it, but it carries the content — and for it to function properly, it has to remain clean, open, and unobstructed.
“But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.”
2 Corinthians 4:7 (KJV)
In many ways, as Christians, that’s what our lives are meant to be. We are not the source of love, wisdom, or grace, but we are channels through which God expresses them. His heart, His words, His intentions for people around us often flow through us, reaching others in ways one may not fully realize.
This is why the state of the “pipe” matters, because when the channel is filled with bitterness, distraction, pride, disconnection or even quiet disobedience, what flows out is no longer clean. It becomes mixed, reduced, or in some cases, completely blocked.
In this case, YOU are the pipe.
“Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.”
Proverbs 4:23 (KJV)
You know, it’s easy to focus on what we want God to do through us, the impact we want to have, our long term visions, the lives we want to touch, but God often focuses first on the condition of our hearts and the quality of the live we live.
This is not because He plans to withhold anything from us, but because He cares about what flows out of us and how it reaches others.
“If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master’s use…”
2 Timothy 2:21 (KJV)
A clean pipe does not struggle to flow, it doesn’t force what it carries. It simply allows what has been placed within it to move freely and reach its destination without issues.
Maybe this is a gentle reminder to pay attention to the inside again. For you to clear out what has slowly built up within, and for you to return to the place where your heart is open, soft, and aligned, spurred by an understanding that your life is a channel and you need to start to living like it.
When the channel is clean, what flows through it remains pure, and the content reaches exactly where God intends it to go.
Shalom!

Amazing!
Thank you.
