In Due Season.

God has created life to be experienced in time and different seasons.

[1] To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven
[2] A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted.

Ecclesiastes 3:1-2 (KJV)

Something that makes me aware of this is the growth of children. Every healthy child grows (and quite rapidly , too) in due season; from childhood to adolescence and finally adulthood. It is a thing of wonder to watch a child on their journey to become impactful, respected and successful adult.

This is why I believe there should always be anniversary celebrations, to see the transformation from childhood to adulthood with all the incredible potentials and gifts that lies within every individual.

An old adage states; “The child is the father of the man.”

It means that all the experiences, lessons, and values instilled in one’s childhood shape the person they eventually become.

Seasons accelerate our progress and advancement. They are instrumental to moulding us into men and women that can fulfil God’s purpose for our lives. Understanding this helps us to recognize that each season is unique and adds important dimensions to our life (and the impacted lives we have reached out to).

Seasons are not permanent; they are transient and do not last forever. No matter how long whatever season or stage you are in presently feels like, it will pass – and another will be upon you.

Understanding that seasons are passing, providential, and purposeful is valuable; however, of greater value is what we do in those seasons. What should our response be?

[18] Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.

[19] Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.

Isaiah 43:18-19 (KJV)
