The Father’s Love.

Heat is necessary for growth, preservation, and refinement of human beings and plants.

In our relationship with God, we will go through hard times. Fire may burn around us, but our Father determines its limits. Trials may test us, but our Father ensures that they do not consume us.

Heat is needed for plants to grow into full maturity and the womb provides heat for newborn babies, but it is the fatherly care of God that keeps them alive.

A loving father does not abandon his child when challenges arise. Instead, he guides, corrects, protects, and prepares the child for the future. There are times when his methods may not be fully understood, but his intentions are always rooted in love.

An earthly father may allow his child to face difficulties, not because he enjoys seeing them struggle, but because he knows that strength, wisdom, and maturity are often developed through life’s challenges.

It is the same way our Heavenly Father permits certain seasons of heat, not to destroy us, but to develop us and make us stand firm and deeply rooted in Him.

Just as a potter watches over the clay in the furnace carefully, so does God watch over His children through every season. He knows when to increase the heat, when to reduce it, and when the process is complete.

The Father’s love is not measured by the absence of trials but by His constant presence in the midst of them during the trail moments. He walks with us through the waters, stands with us in the fire, and strengthens us when we are weak.

When we see a marvelous work of art or some new invention, we often appreciate the finished product, often forgetting the ones who carefully worked behind the scenes to make it possible.

When life becomes uncomfortable and we go through hard times, let us remember that we are not abandoned.

The Father is near. He is working behind the scenes, shaping our character, strengthening our faith, and preparing us for a greater purpose.

For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.

Hebrews 12:6 (KJV)

The Father knows what He is doing. Trust His heart, embrace His process, and rest in His love.
